JOB TITLE LEAD QUALITY ENGINEER

REPORTING TO SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR

HOURS FULL-TIME

LOCATION COPENHAGEN

START DATE MARCH 1st 2019


The SOUNDBOKS Supply Chain Team is deeply focused on developing and refining our processes to contribute world-class performance. As the Lead Quality Engineer, you will enter a team where you will be an important player to provide even better support for our awesome customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • QA Setup for our Suppliers
  • Analyze and drive actions for all claims
  • Strengthen the quality level for our product portfolio through quality tools (8D, CAPA, DMAIC, etc)
  • Develop quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with other key stakeholders
  • Address DFM risks and design challenges from a quality perspective
  • Secure that all product and production specifications are documented and adhering to internal/external requirements incl. quality standards
  • Provide frequent and transparent Quality reporting

In addition to fulfilling a central role in the Supply Chain Team, your job will encompass continuous cross-departmental collaboration with other SOUNDBOKS teams, which will require excellent communication skills, and the capacity to act as the technical anchor point for securing certification and compliance for our product portfolio through our partners.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be proactive, structured and have a hands-on approach for securing all details. Further, a solid understanding of what it takes to build a world class QA Setup and have the tenacity to follow up through an analytical and operational mindset.

 

The following skills and experience are preferred:

  • Experience with QA programs from a production environment and/or suppliers 
  • Strong background in utilizing quality methodologies for achieving defined quality level and/or quality improvements
  • Experience with quality standards, e.g. IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
  • An engineering background, e.g. hold a BSc in engineering or a similar education
  • 3-7 years of work experience with main focus on supply chain and hardware, preferably consumer electronics
  • Experience with Six Sigma incl. LEAN principles
  • Has the ability to set the right balance between quality and efficiency while we make room for new product initiatives
  • Experience with Chinese Manufacturers
  • Professional English proficiency
