ROLE SOCIAL MEDIA LEAD

The Brand/Marketing team at SOUNDBOKS is commonly working on building a world class brand. The team proactively participates in expanding the presence and increasing the brand visibility across key markets like Germany, United States, and the Nordic countries.
As the Social Media Lead at SOUNDBOKS, you will own the task of establishing, leading and executing a global social media strategy. This means driving engagement, growing the brand’s online presence and fostering the direct link to the SOUNDBOKS customer community. This role will also work closely with teams across the whole commercial function.
Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like:
- Strategy Development & Execution:
- You’ll Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with SOUNDBOKS' brand vision and business objectives.
- You’ll lead the planning and execution of high-impact social media campaigns, including product launches, brand collaborations, and community-driven initiatives.
- Content Creation & Management:
- You’ll oversee the creation, curation, and scheduling of engaging content across all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
- You’ll collaborate with teams at SOUNDBOKS and external partners to produce visually compelling and narrative-driven content that speaks to our target audience, while maintaining a consistent brand voice across all social media platforms.
- Community Engagement & Growth:
- You'll build an engaged community by actively connecting with followers, responding to comments and messages, and opening meaningful conversations.
- You’ll establish and implement strategies to grow our social media audience, increase brand loyalty, and drive user-generated content as well as collaborate with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- You’ll determine, track and analyse performance metrics across all social media platforms to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- You’ll provide monthly reports to the VP of Brand Marketing, offering insights and sparring for continuous improvement.
- You’ll stay informed of industry trends to ensure SOUNDBOKS becomes a leader in the social media space.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Paid Media, Brand, Sales, Ecommerce, to ensure social media initiatives support broader business goals.
- You’ll oversee and handle relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and content creators when needed.
Job requirements

- You have 5+ years of experience managing and growing social media channels, ideally in the consumer electronics or lifestyle brand sector, using a multichannel approach.
- Building and executing social media strategies is your bread and butter.
- Ideally, you’ve held a similar central social media role, overseeing the online brand presence.
- You are glad to hear input from others, but are able to stand your ground and back your decision making when needed.
- You’re skilled in stakeholder management, both upwards and sideways within an organisation.
- Social Media is your playground—you naturally want to stay up to date with platforms, trends, and analytical tools.
- You’re a strong storyteller who thrives on creating unique content for relevant audiences.
- Your innovative thinking helps you come up with cool ideas and creative solutions that some would describe as unconventional.
