The SOUNDBOKS Quality Team makes sure our products meet the highest standards for performance, reliability, and user experience while staying compliant with regulations in every market we sell in. They also take care of the in-market product portfolio to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
In addition to their daily work, they collaborate with teams across the organization to identify pain points, drive improvements, and create solutions that boost customer satisfaction and profitability.
As the Student Assistant for Quality & Product Compliance, you’ll focus on supporting product quality initiatives, compliance reporting, and engineering change management. You’ll work with data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration while building expertise in regulatory requirements and quality systems.
Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like:
Compliance Reporting (Primary Focus)
You’ll manage reporting for electronic, battery, and packaging waste across EU countries, adhering to local legal requirements.
You’ll maintain and update structured master data to ensure audit-readiness.
You’ll utilize Excel and ERP tools for data extraction and reporting.
Quality Metrics & Insights (Primary Focus)
You’ll collect data on failure rates and returns using Excel, based on reports from our ERP system.
You’ll create graphs and analyse trends in collaboration with the Quality team, using excel, powerpoint and possible PowerBI.
You’ll draft bi-monthly reports to be reviewed by the Director of Quality and shared with executive leadership.
With the first-hand focus on the above, your professional evolvement will also zoom in on tasks like:
Maintaining change log for engineering and supply chain teams.
Coordinating with Chinese suppliers to confirm Change Orders are received, understood, and implemented correctly.
Developing automated workflows to enhance efficiency.
Supporting the product certification and market access tasks.
Supporting with improvements in the product documentation.
Creating clear, accessible instructions for product assembly, inspections, rework, and repairs in written and video formats.
Job requirements

You're excited to explore the world of audio products at SOUNDBOKS and learn about CE marking and EU rules on recyclability.
MS Excel is your strength, especially when it comes to data analysis and visualization.
Nothing gets past you – your sharp attention to detail helps you spot patterns and catch inconsistencies in data.
You’re already familiar with some AI tools, workflow automations, and databases.
You’ve got a sharp, analytical, detail-oriented mind and enjoy owning your work, but you also enjoy collaborating with stakeholders.
You can read and understand standards and regulatory requirements and are interested in how they apply in a business context.
You may have experience with, or at least an understanding of, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and how they work.
Ideally, you’ve gained some experience with Data Analytics through your studies.
Experience with video editing or creating instructional content would be a plus.
Ability to communicate in Chinese will be considered a big bonus, but absolutely not a must!
