ROLE SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR (MATERNITY COVER)

The Supply Chain team at SOUNDBOKS focuses on keeping a smooth process of product delivery. It’s a team of 9 supply chain experts who enjoy working with others, solving problems and continuously improving ways of working.

SOUNDBOKS is actively progressing on the journey towards maturity through ongoing projects, while the focus remains on maintaining agility and consistently adding value throughout the product journey.


This role is key in helping SOUNDBOKS take the next step in managing supply chain with hands-on execution, practical actions, proactive problem-solving and a future-proofing mindset. The main focus of this role will be driving the already existing strategy and tactical planning, S&OP, supply chain management, operational execution and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment.


Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like:

  • Strategic and tactical execution
    • You’ll execute the existing strategic and tactical plans developed by the team.

    • You’ll monitor KPIs and metrics to track progress and make data-driven decisions.

    • You’ll manage supplier contracts, tenders and negotiations in collaboration with the strategic sourcers.

    • You’ll manage annual budgeting processes and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints within supply chain operations.

  • Team management
    • You’ll oversee and guide the team of 4 direct and 4 indirect reports.

    • You’ll provide mentorship and coaching to foster a performing and motivated team.

    • You’ll support and champion the implementation of company wide new ways of working.

  • S&OP
    • You’ll lead the S&OP process to align sales forecasts, production and inventory.

    • You’ll drive the weekly supply planning meetings with the commercial functions.

    • Also, drive the monthly S&OP meetings with the C-Suite and highlight any risks or opportunities in our planning.

  • Cross-functional collaboration
    • You’ll serve as an effective first point of entry for cross-functional teams.

    • You’ll collaborate closely with all teams to understand their needs, provide supply chain insights and support seamless operations across departments.

  • After sales service operations
    • You’ll ensure high service levels with our existing setups in Copenhagen, including external B2B and 3PL partners.

    • You’ll deliver robust onboarding and optimal management of new B2B partners.

  • Other ongoing key projects you’ll work on:
    • RMS implementation (automated returns, exchange and repair handling).

    • Maturing the US warehouse operations.

    • Leveraging NetSuite ERP features for scalability; workflows, analysis etc.

    • Celebrate successes whether they are small milestones or significant achievements to foster a positive work culture and appreciation of great efforts and further motivate the team(s).

Job requirements

  • You have proven experience and understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, inventory management and procurement processes.

  • You carry demonstrated leadership experience in planning, logistics, supply chain or S&OP positions within consumer electronics or relevant industries.

  • You’ve gained experience in implementing or optimizing ERP systems and processes within the supply chain and/or planning and operations. Knowledge within Netsuite will be considered an advantage.

  • You have gathered experience in driving S&OP processes, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, production plans and inventory planning.

  • Your team considers you a motivating people leader who knows how to support and boost performance and results within the team.

  • You are proficient in data analytics, which comes in handy for supply chain health monitoring, supporting decision-making and problem solving.

  • You are an effective communicator with great interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • You adapt easily and are resilient when navigating changing priorities and business needs.

  • You’re skilled in managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations and vendor SLA evaluations.

  • You’re fluent in written and spoken English.

  • After sales service experience within the US market will be considered a great advantage.
