ROLE STUDENT ASSISTANT, UX/UI (12-months duration)

TEAM DIGITAL EXPERIENCE (DX)

HOURS PART-TIME

LOCATION COPENHAGEN

START DATE MID-JAUNARY 2025

The Digital Experience team at SOUNDBOKS is fully responsible for shaping the digital customer journey across both the website and the app. Their mission is to create a frictionless yet inspiring online experience for customers, while driving growth in both e-commerce performance and app engagement.

In this role, you will be supporting the Senior UX/UI Designer in design thinking and execution of brand campaigns and promotions throughout the year. You’ll also work closely with the E-commerce- and App-focused colleagues, to make sure all designs are functional, timely and support our key metrics.

Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like with the task focus being on both the SOUNDBOKS mobile app and website:

User Research & Design Insights

  • You’ll conduct user research and gather insights to inform the design decisions.

  • You’ll test designs with real users, collecting feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • You’ll communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and team members.

Wireframing, Prototyping & Collaboration

  • You’ll work with wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to demonstrate how a product will look and function.

  • While your focus will be on supporting Senior UX designer, you’ll also work with the creative team and other specialists across the Digital Experience team, to ensure consistency and that all requirements are met.

User Journeys & Feature Design

  • You will support the building of user journey and feature design, from researching and planning to aligning with requirements, which will lead to features, campaigns, or improvements on the platforms.

  • You’ll design landing pages with specific goals in mind (e.g., ensuring users coming from an online ad are hooked and see what's important).

Job requirements

In order to become a success in this role, we believe that your profile should be aligned with the bullets listed below. However, we acknowledge that success can take many forms, so please do apply even if you don’t tick all the boxes.

  • You have experience or education in digital product design, particularly in UX and research.

  • You’ve worked with at least one design tool, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, or others.

  • You’ve definitely done wireframing before.

  • You have an eye for aesthetics—if it doesn’t look good, it’s not going to work, right?

  • You feel confident handling the tasks listed above with a level of independence, while still being open to sparring with team members when needed.

  • Clear communication comes naturally to you—collaborating with others is actually enjoyable, whether it’s with team members, senior colleagues, etc.

  • Staying organised is pretty much your thing.

  • You’re hungry to learn new things and excited to add more practices and skills to your toolbox.

  • You have a minimum of 1 year left in your studies.

Intrigued? At SOUNDBOKS you’ll find yourself a part of a community. We realize that growth is a process and we don’t expect you to go through it alone. Actually, we guarantee that you won’t have to. We work together in order to work smarter, we inspire each other to be better, and we never forget that every member of the team is responsible for our success.

So, if you’re tired of all of the noise in the job market, we’d love to hear from you. This may be the coolest job you ever have!
